Follow the instructions listed below to apply for this scholarship. All materials must be submitted by May 14, 2025.
Eligible Students
To be considered for our scholarship award, students must meet all of the following criteria:
- Enrolled full-time in an accredited law program within the United States
- Demonstrated interest in the criminal justice system
- United States residents or permanent citizens
- 18 years of age or older
Additionally, the student’s grade point average will also be considered when reviewing applications.
Application Instructions
Eligible applicants will need to provide certain materials and information in order to be considered for this award. In the digital application located on this webpage, students will be asked to submit a resume, headshot, proof of enrollment, and an academic transcript.
Students are also asked to submit an essay of approximately 500 words on how they hope to improve the criminal justice system in any one of the following three areas:
- Increase rehabilitative services for those under criminal justice supervision
- Increase access to legal representation for those who cannot afford it
- Improve public education about the criminal justice system
All applications will be reviewed by our scholarship team. We will consider the applicant’s fit to our requirements, the quality and authenticity of their writing, and the essay’s content.
We intend to select and notify our winner no later than June 16, 2025.
